The EANS Foundation was officially introduced to the global neurosurgical community in a positive and cheerful atmosphere, during the EANS 2022 Congress in Belgrade, Serbia, held between 16-20 October 2022.

This new exciting initiative was announced during a special “EANS Foundation Event” hosted in the context of the congress proceedings. The president of the Foundation Prof. Dr. Andre Grotenhuis explained the aims and scope of the Foundation and issued an open call to the global community of neurological surgery, to embrace the foundation, aiming to create new ground-breaking research, in the service of humanity.
