OUR NEW Board Member Jean-Pierre

We are pleased to welcome Jean-Pierre as a new Board Member of the EANS Foundation.

As our Board grows stronger, the Foundation is further empowered to work more effectively, develop meaningful initiatives, and achieve new successes through projects created for the greater good.

Jean-Pierre has been involved in commodities trading throughout his life, first in agricultural products in the USA and Geneva, and later in oil and gas in Geneva, Singapore, and Dubai.

He is the Chairman and Co-founder of Augusta Energy Group, as well as Chairman of the Augusta Foundation, which has promoted education and development in Africa for the past 16 years. This experience has given him valuable insight into the work of foundations and approaches to aid in developing countries.

Jean-Pierre also sits on the Board of Aeler Technologies, a startup involved in clean transportation. He was a long-time Vice President of Swiss Négoce, the traders’ association, and Treasurer of a major political party.

Jean-Pierre studied in Paris and holds degrees from EDC and INSEAD.
