EANS Foundation Mission Kit Supported Neurosurgical Outreach Mission in Tanzania

The EANS Foundation Mission Kit was successfully deployed during a recent neurosurgical outreach mission in Tanzania (9–13 March 2026), where 16 complex surgical cases were performed across two operating theatres without major complications.

The mission was led by Prof. Dr. med. Ehab Shiban, Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at Lausitz University Hospital, Cottbus, Germany.

According to the mission report, the kit contributed to efficient workflow and high surgical performance during the field deployment.
