Second Pan-African Neurosurgery Training Course, 9–13 November in Nairobi

We are pleased to announce and extend our heartfelt congratulations to Course Director Petr Ondra on the confirmation and scheduling of the new dates for the Second Pan-African Training Course in Neurosurgery.

The course will take place from 9 to 13 November at Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Second Pan-African Training Course in Neurosurgery will focus on the theme of Tumors & Pediatrics.

We are proud to be part of this important initiative, which contributes to the education and training of neurosurgeons across the African continent, ultimately helping to improve the quality of patient care in a region where it is greatly needed.

The 2026 Nairobi Course  will :

  • Provide targeted, evidence‑based education directly aligned with the daily realities of African neurosurgeons (late‑presenting tumors, limited adjuvant therapy, pediatric hydrocephalus, spina bifida, complex pediatric tumors).
  • Equip young neurosurgeons with practical decision‑making tools for resource‑constrained environments, not just “ideal‑world” protocols.
  • Reinforce a Pan‑African professional network that will span all four subspecialty courses over the full cycle (vascular, skull base, tumors, pediatrics, and spine/functional in future iterations).

If you want to donate on the development of this project, you can make it in the section Donations in our website.

You support and impact is very important for us.
