EANS Congress 2025
The EANS Foundation took part in the EANS Congress 2025, held in Vienna, Austria, from October 5 to 9, 2025 — one of the leading global neurosurgical events that brought together more than 2,000 participants from 90 countries.
At the exhibition booth, the Foundation presented its brochures, vouchers, and key projects, highlighting ongoing initiatives aimed at supporting the international neurosurgical community.
In collaboration with the brand Air’n, the Foundation also introduced a limited-edition watch series THEIA II, which was met with great enthusiasm and completely sold out during the event.
During the Congress, the Foundation also had the honour of presenting certificates to the winners of the Nini’s Scholarship — an initiative established in memory of Catherine Wurster, designed to support the younger generation in their research and professional projects. The scholarship certificates were presented in the presence of Catherine Wurster’s parents – Mathias Wurster and Dr. Vera Van Velthoven.
This year’s awardees — Dr. Sofie Dietvorst (Belgium) and Dr. Claudius Jelgersma (Germany) — each received €10,000 grants to support their ongoing projects and further education.
Participation in the EANS Congress 2025 marked an important milestone for the Foundation, providing valuable opportunities for professional exchange, partnership building, and the continued advancement of global neurosurgical initiatives.
