The inaugural EANS Foundation Gala Dinner 2025 brought together distinguished leaders in neurosurgery, philanthropy, science, business, and the arts for an inspiring evening dedicated to advancing the future of neurosurgery worldwide.
Held at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva, the Gala welcomed 229 guests and celebrated the Foundation’s mission to support education, research, innovation, and global neurosurgical outreach. Guests enjoyed an elegant program featuring exceptional musical performances, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to contribute to transformative initiatives that expand access to life-saving neurosurgical care.
A highlight of the evening was the presence of world-renowned pianist Martha Argerich, whose participation added a unique cultural dimension to this memorable event. Hosted by acclaimed journalist and television presenter Kareen Guiock Thuram, the Gala brought together influential personalities from across Geneva and Europe, representing a diverse range of industries and sectors united by a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
The evening also featured a successful charity auction, which raised approximately €450,000 in support of the EANS Foundation’s educational, research, and humanitarian initiatives. The remarkable generosity of guests and partners demonstrated the strength of the community supporting the Foundation’s vision.
